Co-founder of the original Firm Bottoms English Lawyers, Anne has over 40 years’ experience in the legal industry and a strong community focus. Anne practices in all areas of law with a particular interest in Native Title and Maritime Law. Her additional commitments include Director of Disability Matters.
Co-founder of the original Firm Bottoms English Lawyers, John contributes more than 45 years of legal knowledge to our Firm. John has been actively involved in the Stolen Wages Class Action and has special interests in Commercial Law, Litigation, Criminal Law, and Succession and Estate Planning.
John is now moving to retirement but continues as a Consultant to the Firm.
Marie practices in all areas of law, with a special interest in Family Law and is a proud member of the Family Law Practitioners Association. Marie is committed to assisting clients in the amicable resolution of property and parenting matters. Marie also has a special interest in Domestic Violence matters, Wills, Elder Law, Child Protection, Leases, and Animal Law related matters.
Emily has 10 years’ experience in Contract and General Commercial Law, commercial transactions and real estate. Emily has also worked extensively in Property Law and Planning and Environment Law. Emily has returned to Melbourne but thoroughly enjoyed her time in the North and remains affiliated with Atherton Tablelands Law. She will be providing valuable services as a Consultant to the Firm on an ongoing basis.
Sean graduated from JCU Townsville in 2020. In his role as a Junior Solicitor, Sean works closely with Anne English and is rapidly gaining exposure across all areas of law. Sean is passionate about Wills and assisting clients in preparing for the future. Beyond legal matters, Sean is also intrigued by emerging technologies and their potential impact on the future of the industry.
Carol heads our Conveyancing Department and has many years of conveyancing experience across the Tablelands. There are many things to consider when you are buying, selling or transferring property and Carol’s friendly and efficient manner will guide you through the process, keeping you up to date regarding key dates and other important considerations.
